I am about to do a rebuild on my rx8 after that I will probably build a 3 rotor

I have a mazdaspeed kit on mine too but I have to say that although your side skirts look great, the mazdaspeed side skirts complement the kit overall look of the front and rear and bring it together with the gunmetal two tone line. ( In your case black ) Still looks amazing though and you gotta do a video on how amazing the mazdaspeed spoiler looks !

K20 is the closest to the weight of the 13b renesis for a piston swap, 13b rew is the same as the k20. 13B rew is the way to go with a street or cross port single turbo and that car should handle like its on rails

Truth is that you really made a solid and pretty RX-8 and not in a "younstger" style but in a refine way. Im getting some skirts and mazdaspeed spoiler this month and my goal is similiar to yours :) gonna be lit!

I agree that kit looks great on your RX8. Did you cut the mesh to suit the front bar or did it come with the kit?

Looks good for Oem + but next step is a hood and eyelids to make it look more aggressive. honestly those rims are hideous bro even stock rims looked better.

The fenderist kit is the best hands down

Love the simple look that adds to the basic design without too much clutter. Some of the ones you reviewed were just too noisy for me too. The black highlights were a nice touch too.

I bought mine from the original owner in 2020. Its a 2006 with 40,000km on it, no scratches and was completely stock. I paid 10,000 cad.

I think this body kit look perfect, i really like the front bumpper for the same reasons as you 😄 I think I'll install the same front bumpper later, with a RE Amemya D1 hood ( to increase cooling performance and because it looks nice) and a R-Magic spoiler (because it looks like the one on the FD RX7 type R). There is another benefit with this front bumpper, bigger holes for better cooling of the oil radiators

I think Mazdaspeed is number 1 but really like the look on chargespeed as well

I bought an RX8 3 months ago as my first car. It's a 2007 velocity red model. Before the purchase, i absorbed as much content as i could on rotaries and the RX8 specifically. On the test drive, i checked the "hot start" and to me, an absolute car noob, it would turn on just fine, so i bought it. A few days later i got it compression tested and expected good numbers, but it turns out it has 4,5 bars of compression across all faces, which is absolutely horrible and the mechanic wondered why my car even turns on at all. To this date, i have driven ~2k KM and it still never let me down. I have changed myself the wheels, ignition system, stabilizers, oil + filter, lambda sensors and fixed a few scratches i got from parking too enthousiastically in my garage and started premixing aswell. The premix + ignition system changed a lot about the behaviour of the car, it even starts noticably faster now. Learned how to do most of the things mentioned on your channel, thanks for that!

I run the Mazdaspeed body kit on my RX-8. Only downside to it is with BC Racing shocks even at the highest setting, you encounter problems on uneven patches on the road. My front bumper and side skirts have taken a lot of abuse. Currently doing a REW swap and switching over to the S2 facelift body kit because every millimeter of clearance counts. Also, I just love how clean the fender looks Edit: Considering the ABFlug or Varis hood to keep that rotary look but add to cooling performance. (Currently running the stock hood, which is by far my favorite)

I think the ABMAX body kit accomplishes a similar style for those in the EU. They also do widebody kits for those who want it. Great video!

I have a cammed LS3 in my RX8. Torque is 420nm, handling and braking doesn’t feel compromised at all.

how about transmissions swaps

The rx8 isn’t a good platform for drifting… 238hp at the crank if you have a fresh engine that is 200hp at the wheel if you’re lucky it’s more around 180/160hp and at 3027lbs you aint drifting that much with that power

RX8 come with a LSD why would you weld the diff?

#1 is cat delete is the best mod for relatability the engine runs cooler and it won’t clog as they end up doing!I It is illegal but thats it the smell lol is such a minor thing

Had my rx8 set up on 265/35 R18 9.5jj +38.. Sadly, Need to sell the car since i moved to Australia now from Indonesia. Was a white Spirit R.. But, I’m going to buy another one here.. Wish me luck guys.. I’m hoping for 2010-2011 RX8 GT.. Or an R3 in American/European market

i bought my rx8 in december of 2023, it was my first manual and had 100k miles already. I broke it 2 weeks after clutch cylinder popped on me. Still havent fixed it but its my favorite car so far
